About the role

  • Formulating research proposals and notes, including developing appropriate research questions, research designs, theoretical approaches, frameworks, methodologies, and sample size calculations
  • Conducting ethically sound, participatory field research
  • Conducting statistically robust quantitative and qualitative analysis using computer assisted tools
  • Making strategic recommendations to improve program outcomes and efficiency
  • Writing reports and creating impact/strategy decks

Requirements

  • Graduation/Masters in Economics, Statistics, Public Policy, Development Studies, Social Work, or other Social Sciences
  • Minimum 4 to 5 years of progressively responsible work experience across sectors such as education, health, food security & nutrition, poverty & livelihood
  • Minimum 3 or more years of experience in program evaluations, research studies, and analytical work using modern analytical software (R/Python/Google Colab/Stata/SPSS/Atlas.ti/NVivo)
