About the role

  • Lead and execute operational focused projects, spanning the entire lifecycle of a transaction.
  • Conduct operational due diligence focusing on EBITDA upside and operational risk.
  • Manage buy side carve out and integration planning to ensure self-operation of newly spun out business.
  • Oversee post-acquisition 100 day and value creation planning.
  • Facilitate ongoing performance improvement and exit readiness planning to maximize returns.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or related field and 5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 3 years of related work experience.
  • Strategy and operations management consulting experience.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving/modeling skills, and the confidence to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
  • Experience in operational due diligence, operational transformation, and performance improvement.
  • Experience in business integrations, divestitures, and/or carve-outs with a demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Experience working on value creation engagements in one or more of the following sectors: Industrials, Business Services, Energy, Consumer Products, and Retail.
  • Deep understanding of financial statements and operational performance metrics.
  • Experience leading and managing cross-functional teams in complex business environments.
  • The ability to prioritize effectively on projects and adapt quickly to new challenges and concepts.
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
