About the role
- Advise clients across the transaction lifecycle focusing on corporate strategy.
- Help clients develop actionable growth strategies, such as corporate strategy, investment strategy, transaction evaluation, and/or value creation.
- Develop business strategies by analyzing market trends or conditions, industry trends, and financial data.
- Review transaction rationale and/or deal documents to identify critical business issues and risks relating to a proposed transaction.
- Manage work streams and projects from initial data collection and analysis to creating final client deliverables.
- Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds in performing quantitative and/or qualitative analysis to develop strategies and solutions for clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Education, Public Policy, a Life Science field, a Health Care field, or a related field plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience performing quantitative or qualitative analysis
- Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in relevant field plus 2 years of work experience performing quantitative or qualitative analysis
- 2 years of experience consulting to provide corporate clients with strategic solutions
- 2 years of consulting experience including managing business strategy and M&A strategic diligence projects in complex environments
- 2 years of experience making detailed assessments of industry, products, markets, competitors and customers to identify risks and opportunities
- 1 year of experience in project management and supervising engagement teams comprised of 2 or more team members
- 2 years of experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis including primary research with industry experts and customers, drafting survey instruments, conducting macro-economic forecasts, building financial models from scratch using MS Excel, presenting analysis and recommendations to senior clients and stakeholders
- Requires travel up to 40%, of which 5% may be international
