About the role

  • Serve as a Strategy & Operations professional to prepare and execute operational turnaround programs, integration plans and/or carve out plans
  • Participate in client engagement teams executing Value Creation
  • Support engagement teams focused on providing operational support, buy side and sell side services
  • Advise on all phases and aspects of methodology across integrations, carve-outs and other types of transaction engagements
  • Provide support and advise on transactions in a particular industry
  • Focus on identifying operational performance improvement and value creation
  • Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds
  • Maintain long-term client relationships and networks
  • Cultivate business development opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science or related field, plus 5 years related work experience
  • Master's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science or related field, plus 3 years of work experience may be accepted
  • 2 years of experience in operations performance improvement, private equity value creation, business integrations, or carve-outs
  • 1 year of experience with detailed financial modeling, and/or operational cost reduction analysis
  • 1 year of experience leading client executive meetings/discussions
  • 1 year of experience in operational due diligence, and/or performance improvement
  • 1 year of experience applying business accounting concepts, including profit and loss and Excel modeling
  • 1 year of experience in a consulting, professional services firm, corporate, or private equity firm in mergers & acquisitions
  • 1 year of experience leading engagement teams of 2 or more staff members
  • Travel required up to 80%, of which 20% may be international.
