About the role

  • The product owner will be responsible for the technology analysis, end user research, future product planning, and cradle-to-grave life-cycle management of the product that is developed.
  • You will build products from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects.
  • You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, create a vision of the product from an end user perspective, and the drive to make that vision a reality.
  • You must enjoy spending time in the market to understand their problems, and find innovative solutions for the broader market.
  • You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company.
  • You will work with a technology counterpart to define product release requirements.
  • You will work closely with various stakeholders to make business decisions and create product strategies that ensure the long-term sustainability of the products or tools.
  • You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for your product offering, occasionally working with the sales channel and key customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in engineering (Computer Science/ Technology)
  • 12 - 15 years of experience in IT/software industry with at least 6 years in capacity of product manager.
  • Experience with HR / Payroll technology solutions and a good understanding of global HRIS / HR / Payroll technology landscape.
  • Knowledge and experience in dealing with cross platform mobile applications.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering high quality technology products/services in a very high growth environment where priorities shift rapidly.
  • Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
