About the role

  • Provide investment and acquisition guidance, strategy, and transaction advisory services
  • Oversee research, analyze data, build and test hypotheses
  • Deliver strategic advice to clients
  • Develop models, industry contacts and benchmarks for the Software Economy
  • Act as the primary client contact
  • Oversee day-to-day problem-solving
  • Define objectives and scope of strategy engagements
  • Lead teams in due diligence and value creation engagements
  • Oversee product and technology assessments
  • Lead pursuit activities including go to market activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field plus 10 years of experience (5 of which are progressive post-baccalaureate experience)
  • Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field plus 8 years of related work experience
  • 7 years of experience working with a multi-national or large-size technology strategy consulting firm
  • 8 years of quantitative experience supervising data analysis
  • 8 years of experience making detailed assessments of the software industry
  • 5 years of experience in due diligence or value creation engagements
  • 6 years of experience fostering client relationships
  • 6 years of experience in project management and supervising teams
  • 6 years of experience authoring, editing and presenting communications
  • 6 years of experience providing thought leadership
