About the role
- Oversee and guide the development team, ensuring that the architectural vision is consistently adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with both nearshore and offshore technical teams, as well as vendors and external partners, to deliver software solutions.
- Assess, select, and recommend the most suitable software development technologies, tools, and platforms.
- Define software requirements and devise architectural plans that the development team can implement.
- Serve as a liaison, communicating these requirements to other stakeholders such as project managers, scrum masters, product owners, business analysts, developers, and infrastructure or security architects.
- Provide training and contribute to business development efforts by supporting the creation of proposals and presentations for prospective clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, (Software) Engineering or other related field with strong IT focus.
- Minimum of 15 years of working experience, preferably 2 years in a healthcare context.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Hands on experience required on debugging issues (mobile/java/DB/Kafka etc).
- Deep understanding of mobile application development frameworks and the technical characteristics of mobile operating systems Android and iOS.
- Proven experience in writing technical concepts, database design and data modeling.
- Experience in Postgres and Python will be plus.
