About the role

  • Successful delivery of large-scale global equity tax projects: technical excellence and practical/business driven approach to solving complex client challenges
  • Oversee technological implementations of our proprietary solutions to deliver value to our clients
  • Generate revenue through identifying follow-on engagement opportunities and developing lasting relationships with clients; identify potential risks and opportunities to improve processes and acquire new business; contribute to business development and client pursuit activities
  • Lead workstreams from planning to implementation to expansion of services– managing resources and budgets effectively
  • Grow your technical skillset to continue to stay curious, engaged and focused on global equity matters and how we can continue to evolve our services and the ways we deliver our services
  • Manage, coach, and develop junior resources and peers, focusing on their technical and client service skills to develop their career
  • Serve as a strong EY brand ambassador to drive exceptional relationship, revenue expansion and marketing opportunities

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in related field; MST, MAcc or JD/LLM preferred
  • 8+ years’ relevant experience in expatriate tax: Big 4, global management consultancy firm, niche consultancy or in-house role with exposure to large-scale projects
  • US Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, active state bar membership or be an active Enrolled Agent
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; ability to confidently influence colleagues and clients
  • Analytical approach to tax; ability to convert complex data into meaningful strategic insights
  • Successful delivery of global equity projects - demonstrate technical excellence and business driven approach to solving complex challenges
  • Generate revenue by identifying follow-on engagement opportunities and developing lasting relationships with clients; identify potential risks and opportunities to improve processes and acquire new business; contribute to pursuit activities by preparing proposals and delivering presentations
  • Develop and oversee project work streams from planning to implementation
  • Influence clients and stakeholders to gain support for major change initiatives and/or decisions
  • Manage, coach, and develop junior resources and peers, focusing on technical and client service skills to develop careers
