About the role
- Develop the partner territory plan
- Collaborate on strategic account plans to drive incremental business
- Identify & address gaps in the coverage plan for the India market
- Develop and implement joint business plans with partners to grow revenue
- Coordinate contract negotiations with partners
- Assist in developing partner’s sales planning, revenue planning/forecasting, and marketing initiatives
- Help direct field participation with the partner community
Requirements
- Business-related degree or related experience
- 10 years of sales/channel experience in the data centre/cloud and storage networking arena
- Proven track record in collaborative development of strategic account plans
- Strong creative nature with ideas for alternate promotion, program, seminars, exhibition or other sales/marketing tools
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality results working self-sufficiently and independently
- A strong network of established relationships within the local partner landscape
- Exceptional communication & negotiation skills towards managing director, sales and account management level
- Ability to operate in a matrix environment by influencing regional direct touch teams and leadership
