About the role

  • Manage and expand relationships with Ethnic retail accounts across Canada.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within key Ethnic retail accounts.
  • Responsible for day-to-day interaction with assigned customer contacts.
  • Collaborate with National Account Managers to develop and manage the Ethnic category within national accounts.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop marketing plans for key Ethnic retail customers to achieve sales objectives.
  • Implement strategic marketing plans with key customers to achieve retail sales objectives for products.
  • Develop and manage sales forecasts and budgets.
  • Generate weekly and monthly reports to evaluate business performance.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Investigate and resolve customer issues and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Attend seafood industry events or any other business-related events when required.
  • Evaluate inventory level forecast to ensure current demand is reflected.
  • Identify new product offerings and/or company initiatives and work closely with the Product Development team to develop new and innovative products.
  • Evaluate market information and adjust sales strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
  • Monitor and report information on competitor products, sales and marketing activities.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive account management experience within the Ethnic Foods industry.
  • Fluent in Mandarin.
  • Experience building long-term business plans.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong attention to detail, organized, self-motivated and have a proven track record of sales and negotiating skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
