About the role
- Manage and expand relationships with Ethnic retail accounts across Canada.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within key Ethnic retail accounts.
- Responsible for day-to-day interaction with assigned customer contacts.
- Collaborate with National Account Managers to develop and manage the Ethnic category within national accounts.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop marketing plans for key Ethnic retail customers to achieve sales objectives.
- Implement strategic marketing plans with key customers to achieve retail sales objectives for products.
- Develop and manage sales forecasts and budgets.
- Generate weekly and monthly reports to evaluate business performance.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Investigate and resolve customer issues and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Attend seafood industry events or any other business-related events when required.
- Evaluate inventory level forecast to ensure current demand is reflected.
- Identify new product offerings and/or company initiatives and work closely with the Product Development team to develop new and innovative products.
- Evaluate market information and adjust sales strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
- Monitor and report information on competitor products, sales and marketing activities.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive account management experience within the Ethnic Foods industry.
- Fluent in Mandarin.
- Experience building long-term business plans.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong attention to detail, organized, self-motivated and have a proven track record of sales and negotiating skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
