Implement and uphold discipline-specific quality standards, tools, and best practices.
Provide mentoring and coaching to engineers and designers to support professional growth.
Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure effective integration of discipline-specific inputs.
Act as a key technical interface with clients, providing support and assurance across projects.
Contribute to resource planning, recruitment, and succession within the discipline.
Requirements
Degree in Engineering, STEM, or equivalent professional qualification/experience.
Strong understanding of Class & Flag Requirements
Strong technical background in marine engineering with a focus on Outfitting.
Proven leadership skills with experience mentoring and developing others.
Excellent communication and client engagement skills.
Commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and innovation.
Experience in Design working / leading on Naval or Commercial Marine projects (preferably naval shipbuilding projects/alternatively new build or major conversion packages) or similar, preferably T26.
BPSS clearance required
