3D Pipe Modelling & Routing: Develop and maintain detailed 3D models of piping systems using CAD software (e.g., FORAN, NUPAS CADMATIC, AVEVA Marine, AutoCAD 3D, ShipConstructor, or similar). Perform pipe routing based on design specifications, space constraints, and classification society requirements.
Design & Documentation: Create and review piping layouts, isometric drawings, and bill of materials. Ensure compliance with marine standards and regulations (e.g., ABS, DNV, Lloyd’s Register).
Interdisciplinary Coordination: Collaborate with structural, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC teams to ensure proper integration of piping systems. Resolve clashes and interface issues using clash detection tools and interdisciplinary reviews.
Shipyard Support: Provide technical support during fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases. Conduct site visits for inspections, troubleshooting, and design validation.
Quality & Compliance: Ensure designs meet safety, environmental, and operational standards. Participate in design reviews and risk assessments.
