About the role
- You’ll be the architect of how Expana shows up in the world.
- Own the overarching platform narrative across all products
- Define and prioritise ICPs, building sharp value propositions for each
- Create the messaging architecture that guides every channel and team
- Approve flagship messaging and platform‑level decks
- Ensure consistency across every touchpoint—from sales to product to marketing
- Align leadership and cross‑functional teams on GTM strategy and success criteria
- Shape product messaging and priorities that power sales enablement
- Establish competitive positioning and the core sales narrative
- Translate win/loss insights into strategic recommendations
- Define competitive positioning and areas of focus
- Partner with product to articulate value vs. price positioning in‑market
- Define how the function operates and collaborates
- Establish KPIs and frameworks for measurement
- Use data to guide improvements and future campaigns
- Determine where AI accelerates and enhances product marketing
- Drive continuous improvement across all initiatives
Requirements
- 7–10+ years in product marketing, including 3–5 years in senior IC or strategic leadership roles
- A proven ability to define product narratives and positioning for complex B2B/SaaS/DaaS platforms
- Deep expertise in ICP definition, messaging architecture, and GTM strategy
- Experience partnering with C‑suite and cross‑functional leaders
- Strong storytelling, communication, and presentation skills
- Strategic thinking paired with a bias for action
- Experience in supply chain, commodities, or market intelligence is a bonus
- A track record of driving alignment and influencing across organisations
