About the role
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs, WebSockets, or GraphQL APIs for enterprise applications.
- Deploy applications to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) using Docker and Kubernetes and manage cloud-native deployments.
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data processing applications (ETL/ELT), including batch and streaming pipelines.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and ensure security best practices (OAuth, SSL, data encryption).
- Work with Python, Unix Shell scripting, SQL and handle JSON and XML data formats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver data engineering solutions, with a preference for healthcare domain projects.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs, WebSockets, or GraphQL APIs.
- 6+ years of Experience deploying applications to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) using Docker or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and cloud-native applications (e.g., Jenkins, GIT).
- Knowledge of security best practices for web development (e.g., OAuth, SSL, data encryption).
- Hands-on experience in design and development of enterprise data processing applications (ETL/ELT).
- Hands-on and robust experience in Python, Unix Shell scripting, SQL and handling of JSON, XML data.
- 6+ years of experience in SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
- 6+ years of experience with server-side programming languages such as Node.js, Python or Java.
- Bachelor's or master's Degree (Bachelor's minimum).
- Cloud Computing knowledge, experience in building batch and streaming data pipelines using cloud data engineering technologies (GCP/AWS/Azure), GCS preferred.
- Experience in the Health Care Domain preferred.
