About the role
- Set and champion the creative vision for projects to ensure innovative, high-quality results
- Motivate and guide the design team to maintain creative excellence and deliver exceptional outputs
- Represent Evolving Web as a subject matter expert in visual design and brand development
- Identify opportunities for clients to better engage audiences and support sales team to expand relationships
- Present creative concepts and pitch to clients, stakeholders, and collaborators
- Advocate for Evolving Web through speaking engagements, networking events, and thought leadership
- Provide mentorship and constructive feedback to elevate team skills and align work with brand standards
- Curate and enhance the company's portfolio to showcase best work
- Lead brand development tasks: crafting presentations, pitch decks, and digital assets
- Improve website and portfolio to ensure strong digital presence and user experience
- Develop engaging content to share the company's story, capabilities, and successes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with project management, development, and sales to align creative efforts
- Balance design excellence with practical solutions that meet project constraints
Requirements
- 5+ years in a creative leadership role, including experience pitching concepts and managing multidisciplinary teams
- Strong proficiency in Figma and solid understanding of design systems, branding, and user-centered design principles
- Familiarity with web technologies, particularly Drupal and WordPress (asset)
- Confident and engaging presentation and speaking skills
- Proven ability to foster collaboration and build trust across teams
- Bilingual: Fluent in English and French with excellent communication skills in both languages
- Agency experience and strategic thinking
- Passion for mentorship and team development
