About the role
- Administer employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans
- Serve as a primary contact for employee compensation and benefits questions and issue resolution
- Process compensation changes related to merit increases, promotions, job changes, and market adjustments
- Support commission, incentive, and bonus payments by ensuring accurate calculations and coordination with Payroll
- Maintain and audit compensation and benefits data within the HRIS (Rippling experience strongly preferred)
- Partner with Payroll, Finance, brokers, and vendors to ensure accurate and timely execution of programs
- Support annual benefits renewal and open enrollment processes, including employee education and enrollment support
- Ensure compensation and benefits practices comply with applicable regulations and internal policies
- Prepare routine reports and assist with audits related to compensation and benefits programs
- Identify opportunities to improve documentation, processes, and employee understanding as programs evolve
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in compensation, benefits, or People Operations
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage a high volume of transactional work
- HRIS experience required; Rippling experience strongly preferred
- Experience partnering with Payroll, Finance, vendors, and external providers
- Clear, professional, and empathetic communication style
- Comfortable receiving feedback and adjusting quickly
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and stay organized in a fast-moving environment
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Preferred: Professional certification such as CEBS (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist), CCP (Certified Compensation Professional), or PHR/SPHR (Professional in Human Resources/Senior Professional in HR)
