About the role

  • Create, schedule, and post content on various social media platforms for BabyCenter and What to Expect
  • Collaborate with the social team to brainstorm content that supports brand awareness, engagement, and audience growth
  • Track viral trends and pitch smart, creative ways for the team to bring that content to life on social
  • Manage the posting of social content to multiple platforms using Sprout Social and scheduling tools
  • Foster community by engaging with external social posts and responding to audience feedback in comments and DMs

Requirements

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience in digital marketing, journalism, communications, or a related field
  • Proven success managing multiple projects at once, working quickly, and meeting deadlines
  • Excellent social media writing, organization, and communication skills
  • Hands-on experience creating, publishing, and optimizing social media content for various platforms
  • Working understanding of platform-specific features and scheduling tools
  • Experience using Canva and being on camera for social videos is a big plus
