About the role
- Support a team dedicated to assisting the Rates, Revenue and Regulatory Requirements organization across CT, MA, NH.
- Plan and coordinate the preparation and support of regulatory filings in partnership with various teams and managers.
- Work under primary direction of the Manager, Regulatory Project Management with secondary direction from Directors and senior leadership.
- Support development of filings that establish revenue requirements for reasonable rate of return for shareholders.
- Coordinate, align and prepare research, testimony and supporting exhibits in collaboration with expert witnesses.
- Manage preparation of responses to data requests.
- Support financial, regulatory and policy research in support of regulatory activities.
- Develop written reports and presentations.
- Work effectively as a team across Rate and Revenue Requirement staff, Legal, Accounting and Engineering.
- Handle preparation of regulatory deliverables in an ethical manner ensuring they reflect accounting and regulatory practices and financial principles.
Requirements
- Authorization to work in the United States is a precondition to employment in this position.

- Requires knowledge of regulatory, legislative, and industry trends in the energy sector and utility operations.
- Demonstrated ability in working across functional / organizational boundaries is desirable.
- Strong communication skills.
- Familiarity with concepts related to emerging utility technologies (e.g. distributed energy, grid modernization, storage, etc.) is highly desirable.
- Knowledge and experience of accounting and finance principles, with application to utilities preferred.
- Knowledge, experience and demonstrated ability in areas of financial reporting and analyses.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, closely related discipline or equivalent experience.
- MBA preferred.
- Five (5) plus years of related experience.
