Act as the subject matter expert (SME) on our product, delivering deep technical insight and advice on the data insights gained.
Provide technical expertise through presentations, solution designs, demonstrations and proof of concepts via various mediums; provide ongoing technical consultation addressing complex questions and objections.
Translate customer requirements into solution architecture, clearly articulating how our platform solves real-world problems and the insights it generates.
Provide excellent customer service anticipating and meeting the needs of the customer.
Work collaboratively with Go-To-Market, Operations, Engineering and Product teams to document and improve best practice and processes; engage in continuous knowledge sharing.
Stay up to date with developments in Everseen’s technology, Computer Vision, Gen AI, and the wider retail technology space.
Requirements
5+ years in technical sales, presales or solution engineering roles working with enterprise level customers and on SaaS based products, solutions or services.
Knowledge of and interest in AI and its use in retail; knowledge and experience of the retail market.
A true passion for delivering best-in-class customer experience and demonstrated success in positioning, presenting and demonstrating new products and features.
Ability to develop a comprehensive understanding of customer culture, needs and requirements in the North American region.
Experience of advanced data analytics.
Experience of forecasting and tracking key account metrics in a business development team; drive to meet and exceed targets and goals.
Experience of developing relationships and communicating with customers at a technical level.
Strong verbal and communication skills; business language is English.
Willingness to travel to meet with customers and Everseen teams.
Extensive experience working with Linux systems, including Bash scripting, package management, and log analysis.
Proficiency with containerization technologies such as Docker and Podman, and hands-on experience with Kubernetes orchestration, Helm charts, and multi-tenant policies.
Solid knowledge of virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM) and hardware sizing for CPU, RAM, GPU, and storage.
Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, and load balancing.
Familiarity with retail POS systems (NCR, Diebold Nixdorf, Toshiba, Oracle), PCI DSS compliance, and peripheral hardware (scanners, printers, SCOs, EFT terminals).
Exposure to cloud and hybrid edge deployments, including monitoring and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, and Power BI.
Familiarity with security best practices including SELinux, Kubernetes RBAC, secrets management, VPN tunneling, and log management.
Strong solution design and pre-sales skills: requirements gathering, creating technical architectures, presenting demos/POCs, and building customer-ready documentation and BOMs.
Familiarity with automation tools, especially Ansible.
Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft 365, Jira, and Power BI.
