Partner with sales representatives to develop and execute effective selling strategies for each opportunity.
Document customers’ goals, objectives, opportunities, problems, and obstacles, linking them back to Merge solution unique business values (UBVs).
Provide workflow analysis of the current state and demonstrate how Merge solutions can improve existing workflows.
Analyze the competitive landscape of each deal to properly position Merge’s UBVs and differentiators.
Develop proposed solutions that address prospect-specific clinical, business, and technology issues.
Perform tailored onsite product demonstrations and presentations to clinical end-users, IT staff, business analysts, and executives.
Answer clinical questions about product applications and new features to prospects and various groups within new and existing customer accounts.
Gather ongoing prospect-customer feedback and related information, providing feedback to product management.
Assist in staging and staffing industry trade shows.
Pursue a program of self-development through selected reading, seminars, and participation in continuing education.
Identify and communicate possible improvements in the work process for customers and peers.
Collaborate with the sales team as the clinical and product Pre-Sales expert for Merge Imaging Solutions.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in Pre-Sales clinical consulting, or similar role.
1+ years of experience providing application support and explaining clinical and technical concepts to customers and sales prospects or providing internal support to company employees.
Proven track record of success in supporting sales of complex medical imaging solutions.
Familiarity with healthcare IT environments, including HL7 interfaces, clinical workflows, and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA).
Experience with Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), Health information System/Radiology Information Systems (HIS/RIS), and DICOM standards.
Experience with cloud services, networking, and cybersecurity as it pertains to medical imaging solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare related field or equivalent work experience.
