About the role

  • Identify and build business relationships with new prospects as well as with new groups within existing accounts.
  • Communicate with management-level decision makers to structure new deals and build upon existing business relationships.
  • Coordinate customer visits with Eurofins Discovery scientists and specialists.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities
  • Ensure transactions and orders from customers to Client Services/Technical Scientific Support teams are accurate and complete.

Requirements

  • A minimum education of Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) or above in applicable life science (Pharmacology, Cell Biology or Biochemistry is preferred.)
  • Five years of successful technical sales experience or equivalent.
  • Good understanding and experience in the preclinical CRO market
  • Fluency in discussing science in the local language (Japanese)
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
