About the role
- Identify and build business relationships with new prospects as well as with new groups within existing accounts.
- Communicate with management-level decision makers to structure new deals and build upon existing business relationships.
- Coordinate customer visits with Eurofins Discovery scientists and specialists.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities
- Ensure transactions and orders from customers to Client Services/Technical Scientific Support teams are accurate and complete.
Requirements
- A minimum education of Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) or above in applicable life science (Pharmacology, Cell Biology or Biochemistry is preferred.)
- Five years of successful technical sales experience or equivalent.
- Good understanding and experience in the preclinical CRO market
- Fluency in discussing science in the local language (Japanese)
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
