💰 £44,000 - £52,000 per year
About the role
- Registered Manager responsible for leading a residential children's home for Esland Group
- Provide leadership, supervision and management of care staff, including staff development and performance management
- Ensure the safety, safeguarding and well-being of young people underpins every decision
- Deliver and oversee comprehensive, paid induction training and ongoing training within the role
- Promote equal opportunities and challenge discriminatory behaviour or practice
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safer recruitment practices (including Full Enhanced Disclosure checks)
- Report to the Regional Manager and collaborate with regional leadership
- Support career development opportunities and implement management development initiatives
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years in a position relevant to the residential care of children (within the last 5 years)
- At least 1 year in a role requiring the supervision and management of staff working in a care role
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent
- Candidates that hold a full, UK driving licence
- Candidates must be over the age of 21 to meet industry regulations
- Successful employment is subject to satisfactory Full Enhanced Disclosure, right to work and reference checks in line with government regulations and Safer Recruitment Practices
