About the role

  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual global consolidation processes for all entities.
  • Ensure proper elimination of intercompany accounts in consolidated financial statements.
  • Manage the financial close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Review and analyze financial results to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate with regional finance teams to gather and validate financial data, ensuring consistency and compliance with corporate, local, international and regulatory policies and standards.
  • Oversee consolidation system integrity, including chart of accounts, entity hierarchies, and reporting structures.
  • Oversee foreign currency translation and remeasurement processes for global subsidiaries, ensuring accurate consolidation of financial statements and compliance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., ASC 830), including the review of foreign exchange adjustments and related disclosures.
  • Provide consolidated financial data and analysis in support of SEC filings (10K, 10Q, 8K).
  • Support preparation of financial statement footnotes and related disclosures.
  • Ensure alignment between management reporting, external reporting, and statutory reporting.
  • Coordinate and support local statutory financial statements for domestic and international subsidiaries.
  • Manage and/or support government agency reporting, including census, statistical, and regulatory submissions.
  • Maintain and enhance internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.
  • Work closely with internal and external auditors to address any audit findings and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead and implement continuous process improvements across consolidations and reporting.
  • Identify automation opportunities to improve close efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to regional controllers and finance leadership.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members.
  • Collaborate closely with technical accounting, tax, treasury, legal, investor relations, FP&A, and internal audit teams.
  • Willingness to take on special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in accounting or finance related positions.
  • 2+ years in a leadership role within an accounting or finance environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in the consolidation processes.
  • 5+ years of experience with U.S. GAAP.
  • Working experience in financial reporting software (e.g., Hyperion, HFM, Workiva, Microsoft suite).
