About the role
- Lead all aspects of engagement with Ace Hardware and act as the primary architect of retail success in this channel
- Full P&L responsibility for a strategic Retail account
- Define sales and growth strategy aligned with critical sales business objectives
- Build relationships and understand customer business needs to provide appropriate products or solutions
- Identify opportunities and use product knowledge to deliver the value proposition
- Drive continuous improvement and lead change in the Sales Organization
- Manage and Grow Sales and Gross Margin for Ace Hardware
- Identify opportunities for growth and manage and plan the account
- Negotiate and close deals and manage momentum through the sales cycle
- Articulate and deliver value proposition and collaborative forecasting
- Lead preparation for customer/industry events and in-store activation
- Establish rapport with customers and conduct performance analysis
Requirements
- 5+ years of sales experience
- Experience in Hardware/Co-Op Channel (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to influence at varying levels across the organization
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and navigate in a highly matrixed environment
