About the role
- Oversee daily store operations, sales quotas, financial responsibilities, and strategic priorities
- Hire, inspire, motivate, coach, and develop staff; conduct weekly 1-on-1s
- Monitor customer satisfaction and sales metrics; serve as role model for selling capability
- Serve as point of escalation for procedural, technical/product, selling/coaching guidance, and customer service issues
- Lead store operational elements, policies, procedures, standards, and ensure compliance with corporate policies and employment laws
- Find innovative solutions to improve store operations and promote continual improvement
- Analyze store financial and performance results; develop strategic action plans to increase sales and control costs
- Conduct root cause and countermeasure analysis and leverage company analytical tools for decision-making
- Establish team goals, plan staffing with talent acquisition, participate in hiring and address performance/conduct/discipline
- Ensure team training completion, provide follow-up coaching, mentoring, and support career development
- Partner with suppliers to conduct joint store marketing and selling events
Requirements
- 3+ years of management experience
- Ability to adapt and work in adverse situations
- Proven leadership and sales results experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills (valued)
- Experience in Security Distribution (valued)
- Previous Salesforce Experience (valued)
