About the role

  • Overall group-wide responsibility for the relationship with your Financial Institution clients (across all products) and coordination and steering of business within Erste Group
  • Manage client profitability and internal credit limits (application, allocation within Erste Group, optimization)
  • Direct sales responsibility for FI products (e.g., trade finance/guarantees, lending) and cross-selling tasks for Group Markets and Corporate business
  • First line of defense responsibility for cash and trade finance
  • Primary point of contact and escalation for any FI-related issues
  • KYC support and client data management
  • Contribution to project work related to the Financial Institutions client segment

Requirements

  • Ideally a university degree or equivalent in business administration or economics, or long-term professional experience with this client group
  • Minimum 4–5 years of experience in international banking – Financial Institutions, Transaction Banking (Cash & Trade), or Large Corporates
  • Strong knowledge of interbank products including payments/cash management, trade finance, custody, and lending
  • Willingness to travel and flexibility in working hours, including occasional overtime
  • Experience with KDB/Cockpit/ZKI, CRM, PAM Reporting, and other standard applications
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Fluent in German and English; knowledge of CEE languages (e.g., Polish) and/or other languages is an advantage
