Manage a territory of approximately 25 agencies in sales, underwriting, profitability, and agency management.
Support, coach, and motivate Independent Agents to achieve business goals.
Recruit, train, and develop new Agents.
Serve as an Agent’s knowledge broker on ERIE products.
Engage in comprehensive training on field and home office sales operations.
Learn the fundamentals of sales management, risk management, and branch account operations.
Gain exposure to leadership development, strategic planning, and customer relationship management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree, required; or Associate’s degree and two years of sales, underwriting, claims or marketing experience, required; or High school diploma or GED and four years of sales, underwriting, claims or marketing experience, required.
Master’s degree preferred.
Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software required.
Willingness to relocate to other offices required.
Frequent travel required.
Completion of insurance designations such as CIC or CPCU preferred.
Willingness to pursue insurance designations required.
Successful completion of Life and Property/Casualty licensing exams required to complete training program.
Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
