About the role

  • Coordinate and manage all phases of hiring and onboarding loan officers, administrative and professional staff
  • Provide HR generalist support in employee relations, performance management and other areas
  • Assist with administration of HRIS system
  • Back up HR team members in Payroll, Benefits, Licensing, and Compliance
  • Partner with management to lead full-cycle recruitment
  • Initiate pre-employment screenings
  • Conduct professional onboarding and orientation for all new hires
  • Support HRIS administration, including employee self-service
  • Manage employee off-boarding processes
  • Consult with and advise management on basic performance issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Human Resources Certification - SHRM-CP® or PHR® or equivalent preferred
  • 3+ years of HR experience
  • Direct talent acquisition/recruiting and employee relations responsibilities
  • Knowledge of legally compliant interviewing and hiring best practices
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR technologies, including ATS, HRIS, job boards, social media, and candidate sourcing tools
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
