About the role

  • Generate leads through a variety of methods such as cold calling, emailing, social media, networking, attending industry events, account-based management (ABM), etc
  • Conduct thorough research to identify target accounts, potential leads, and key decision-makers and understand their needs, interests, and pain points.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute effective strategies for lead generation
  • Establish and maintain relationships with potential customers and educate them on the value of our solutions
  • Follow up on inbound leads and inquiries promptly
  • Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and pass them to the sales team
  • Collaborate with sales team to schedule meetings and demos for the sales team
  • Monitor market trends, industry news, and customer feedback to develop new sales opportunities
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, presentations, and quotes
  • Track customer accounts and update customer information in the customer relationship management system (CRM)
  • Provide regular reports on lead generation activities and outcomes
  • Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
  • 5+ years of B2B technology experience in a relationship-building or sales role, preferably in the insurance industry, with a focus on prospecting and hunting for new clients
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and trends in sales and business development.
  • Experience in dealing with and interacting with C-Suite/Executive level potential clients
  • Experience carrying and exceeding KPI’s and targets
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Result-oriented and challenge driven
  • Highly self-motivated, with excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for conferences and events within US and Canada
  • Excellent knowledge of French and English (spoken and written)
  • Account Based Management (ABM) knowledge
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with the ability to close deals.
  • Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

  • Comfortable with email and phone communication
  • Strong sense of organization and prioritizing
