About the role

  • Manage the People Team inbox and Slack channel and respond to employee inquiries as needed
  • Facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new hires, including coordinating pre-employment documentation, background checks, and new hire paperwork
  • Manage offboarding procedures, including exit paperwork, system deactivations, and internal coordination
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and data integrity as well as compliance with company policies and legal requirements
  • Generate reports to provide insights on workforce trends
  • Assist in implementing and optimizing HRIS functionalities
  • Identify opportunities to enhance workflows and improve operational efficiency
  • Support ad hoc People Team projects and initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in an HR administrative or coordination role
  • Experience working in a fully remote environment
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms (ADP experience preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and to meet deadlines
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States (application asks about work authorization and visa sponsorship)
