About the role
- Manage the People Team inbox and Slack channel and respond to employee inquiries as needed
- Facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new hires, including coordinating pre-employment documentation, background checks, and new hire paperwork
- Manage offboarding procedures, including exit paperwork, system deactivations, and internal coordination
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and data integrity as well as compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Generate reports to provide insights on workforce trends
- Assist in implementing and optimizing HRIS functionalities
- Identify opportunities to enhance workflows and improve operational efficiency
- Support ad hoc People Team projects and initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in an HR administrative or coordination role
- Experience working in a fully remote environment
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms (ADP experience preferred)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and to meet deadlines
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Legal authorization to work in the United States (application asks about work authorization and visa sponsorship)
