Support Engineer

• Due to continued expansion to support our customers, we have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Design Engineer to join the EOS Team.
• You will be a technical consultant to the sales force generating Project Scope of Works, block flow diagrams and equipment lists to enable generation of customer proposals.
• You will also be leveraged by the post sales team for project engineering and or on-going project consultation for our clients.
• You will provide a technical review of Audio-Visual Projects including but not limited to end-user technical training and support to the implementation teams.
• Technically support Project Managers and Implementation Teams, including assistance with hands on and remote commissioning where required.
• Produce and or assist with technical training for internal and external end-users.
• Amend and adapt Audio Visual system design including CAD schematics and project requirements.
• Keep current with the technical aspects of the systems being installed through manufacturer training.
• Creation of system Scope Of Work and Bill of Materials for quotes to clients, this will include allocation of professional service hours.
• Review and approval of technical documents (Schematics, rack drawings, layout drawings and detailed technical info for IP systems) for handover to Project Management for deployment.
• Review and technical lead on project bids for client base.
• Provide status and feedback of the technical aspects of the projects assigned to the Project Manager, Engineering Department, and the Account Manager in the form of verbal and documented post-mortems to modify and improve internal and external processes and designs.

Audio Visual Sales Support Engineer

Operations

• Contact OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) and distributors to gather pricing information for Audio Visual, Video, Conferencing, and Networking components.
• Register and manage bids with relevant OEMs and distributors in accordance with company procedures.
• Create detailed and competitive quotes in Sage X3.
• Interact with clients to present and discuss quotes, addressing their inquiries and needs.
• Maintain communication with OEMs and distributors to ensure accurate and up-to-date pricing information.
• Identify any changes or updates in pricing and adjust quotes accordingly.
• Continuously monitor the market for pricing trends and competitive positioning.
• Maintain thorough records of pricing data, client interactions, and bid registrations.
• Process final project invoicing, working closely with Account Management teams.
• Attend client meetings, representing the Sales Operations department.
• Work closely with Finance to address any invoicing queries and customer follow up, as needed.

• Day to day management of the Post Sales Engineering Team, this will include planning, organization, scheduling, team risk mitigation, goal identification and delivery.
• Enable the team to support Project Managers, Drafting, Programming, Field Implementation Teams and Sales, including assistance with product testing and remote commissioning support.
• Oversee and review, as necessary, the team’s modification of project Scope of Works (SOW) with the teams to ensure desired operation and customer satisfaction.
