About the role
- Report to fractional CFO and work closely with CRO and CEO
- QuickBooks management and possible ERP migration support
- Handle incoming accounting support queries sent to accounting alias
- Ramp transaction review and categorization
- Process contractor invoices via Skuad/Ramp
- Payroll management using Rippling/Remote.com
- Review and manage expenses
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, month-end closes, reporting, and reconciliations
- Manage Ramp bill pay system for Accounts Payable
- Manage Accounts Receivable to ensure timely collections and follow enterprise workflows
- Manage account credits and bad debt cleanup
- Calculate sales commissions and manage monthly partner payouts
- Manage revenue cycle in quote-to-cash system and accounting platform
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience
- CPA, CMA, MBA, or strong equivalent experience
- NetSuite, Intacct, or other ERP experience (currently using QBO)
- Experience with different revenue management systems
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (modeling, formulas, pivots)
- Comfort with internal controls, audit prep, tax compliance (sales tax, 1099s, etc.)
- Experience with QuickBooks, Ramp, Skuad, Rippling/Remote.com
- Experience managing payroll, contractor invoices, and expense review
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable management experience
- Commissions calculations and partner payouts experience
- Experience with quote-to-cash systems and revenue cycle management
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous start-up environment
- Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills
- Collaborative mindset and cross-functional communication skills
