About the role
- The Security Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation and support of enterprise and data center wide voice and data security solutions that align with the architecture and business models to achieve optimal solutions for Ensono and its customers.
The Security Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Security solutions to include Security, Security/Threat, and Voice solutions; developing and maintaining Security documentation; developing and maintaining Security standards and guidelines; manage Security and security capacity planning; interacting and consulting with Ensono ENSG customers to collect required solution information; coordinating solutions with Ensono ENSG customers; and providing support for engineering design and implementation issues.

Requirements
- Experience in Wireless Security, Firewall, NIDS/NIPS, Web Filtering, Threat Intelligence
Experience in Firewall Management such as Palo Alto or Fortinet
Experience in Network Management Tools such as Infoblox NetMRI
Exposure in DDoS Services and Zero Trust Segmentation
Experience with control frameworks like CMS, NIST, and CMMC
Experience in working with sensitive data and systems
Demonstrate a sense of urgency when dealing with issues related to security investigations
Strong Knowledge of routing and switching protocols to include firewall security policy setup and threat protection
Professional network or security certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, GSEC, CISSP is a plus
Bachelor’s Degree or demonstrated equivalent relevant work experience
Minimum 5 years of experience, certifications and/or demonstratable relevant work experience
Demonstrated experience with this specific company and customers
Strong written and oral communications skills; Strong interpersonal and customer relations skills
Be fully functional and self-directed as well as integrate into a team
Ability to provide formal mentorship and cross-train others
Ability to technically document processes and procedures and run books
Ability to handle and manage low to high complexity of assignments
Ability to follow ITSM and ITIL process such as incident, request, problem and change management procedures
Proven diligence and adherence to audits and security protocols, procedures and reporting
Knowledge of USG security and audit process, policy, procedures, laws and requirements
Display aggressive life cycle management
Demonstratable critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to document process and procedures
Regularly lead self and others and/or established as Product SME and/or established as specialist
Sees the whole picture and adjusts work accordingly
Contributes to product strategy for a specific product. Checkpoint, Crossbeam, etc...
Builds product business plans to drive revenue and rationalize investment
Creates product road maps and writes user stories and requirements
Partners with engineering to ensure product strategy and requirements are aligned with development strategy and to orchestrate product development
Demonstrated ability to develop automation and efficiencies
