About the role
- Conduct initial interviews with clients to understand operations and R&D applications
- Assess the applicability of R&D tax credits and prepare accurate credit calculations
- Conduct in-depth interviews with client personnel to gain understanding of qualifying activities
- Prepare thorough and accurate final reports documenting R&D tax credits and activities
- Develop and sustain excellent client relationships for timely data reception
- Manage R&D supporting team members and oversee project assignments
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in tax credit consulting
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving capabilities
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Technology, Engineering, or related field
- CPA or J.D. candidates preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public
