Engineer

• Set-up Injection molding machines for mold trials/tests/run-offs
• Establish robust, repeatable process parameters/processes
• Use strong problem solving skills to troubleshoot molds, machines, auxiliary equipment, and processes
• Trouble shoot process-related issues in the lab as well as at customer sites
• Participate in activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements at the customer site
• Provide start up support at customer site to ensure timely start of production
• Design and execute DOE to establish new processes and for R&D work
• Review processing methods
• Implement statistical process analysis on new and existing products
• Develop and maintain process documentation
• Assist in the development of training and provide process training at the customer
• Provide equipment maintenance and repair support as required
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and organized fashion that follows all required safety policies and regulations
• Other duties as requested, directed or assigned

Plastics Processing Engineer

Field Engineer

• Performs work remotely at customer sites; installing and servicing equipment while also providing customer training and support
• Troubleshoots and repairs injection molding machines and robots
• Conducting tests and inspections on all mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic or software components including calibrations to optimize performance
• Performs software and hardware installations
• Performs all safety checks on equipment
• Educates customers on equipment and instructs on proper operation
• Manages resolution of customer issues, including order and installation of replacements parts as necessary
• Orders replacement parts with diagnoses of problems with control systems and develops an organized approach to solving machine problems
• Instructs other Service Technicians and/or customer operators on the maintenance and safe operations of injection molding systems
• Communicates on an ongoing basis with Central Service/Manufacturing/Parts Center to obtain answers to problems encountered in the field
• Provides written reports on a regular basis to the Service Manager

Field Service Technician

• Troubleshoots and repairs injection molding machines and robots

• Performs software and hardware installations
• Performs all safety checks on equipment
• Educates customers on equipment and instructs on proper operation

• Develops an organized approach to solving machine problems and repairs/replaces parts as required
• Instructs other Service Technicians and/or customer operators

Project Manager

• Responsible for enhancing organizational efficiency and providing a culture of continuous improvement by implementing and managing projects across the division, including process improvement, cost accounting, benchmarking, workflow, quality improvement, and strategic initiatives at the service experience departmental level
• Consults with leadership in identifying areas for process improvement, establishes objectives, selects and leads cross functional team, ensures participants and others involved have tools and information necessary to allow for successful project completion
• Establishes and documents project scope and goals
• Develops, manages, and implements action plans for all projects and communicates progress consistently to all supervision
• Manages all aspects of assigned projects throughout the project lifecycle including project scope, schedule, resources, related data and metrics, costs and changes and implementation
• Set and manage customer expectations
• Develops and maintains a detailed project plan to include milestones, tasks, and target/actual dates of completion
• Revises project plans as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements and ensures understanding of all impacted for reasons and results of change
• Schedules and leads project meetings to include logistics, agendas, and meeting minutes
• Conducts regularly scheduled project status update meetings and reports progress regularly to supervision
• Develops process workflows and support implementation as it relates to assigned projects and/or to support internal process improvement initiatives
• Interfaces, when appropriate, with all areas affected by the project to include internal subject matter experts and external departments
• Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by a supervisor
