About the role

  • On-site engineering support during construction and commissioning
  • Managing schedules, scope, and quality to ensure project success with minimal supervision
  • Providing technical leadership, utilizing comprehensive engineered packages—including drawings, calculations, and specifications
  • Developing detailed engineering design packages, drawings, specifications, and evaluations tailored to client needs
  • Ensuring all designs and deliverables align with industry codes, standards, and regulations
  • Working effectively with multidisciplinary teams and fostering strong relationships with colleagues and client engineers
  • Providing hands-on expertise during field installations, system checkouts, and start-up activities
  • Owning project scopes, schedules, and quality, while guiding team members to ensure successful outcomes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (for Electrical Engineers)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical (for I&C Engineers)
  • Requires at least 3+ years of design engineering experience
  • Experience with Protection & Control Design, Medium and low voltage installation and Power system design experience (Electrical Engineers)
  • DCS/PLC installation and configuration experience (I&C Engineers)
  • Strong skills in writing, presentation and communication
  • Proficient in performing electrical calculations
  • Cable, conduit, and cable tray installation design experience
  • Ability to provide informed recommendation based on expertise
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proven ability as an individual contributor and team member
  • Physically able to visit client sites (including using stairs or ladders)
  • PE license highly preferred; EIT preferred
  • Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the US without requiring current or future sponsorship
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, ENERCON and client specific background checks, and annual motor vehicle record (MVR) according to company and client policies
