About the role

  • Define and integrate the clinical strategy for obesity care, ensuring alignment with regulation, safety standards, and patient needs.
  • Stay ahead of guidelines, emerging evidence, and innovations in obesity and metabolic health to inform product development.
  • Provide leadership in obesity care within a digital health setting—partnering with Clinical Product and Clinical Operations to evolve models of care and translate them into scalable, safe, and effective workflows.
  • Bring clarity on clinical constraints and opportunities, ensuring product design reflects safety, effectiveness, and patient experience.
  • Support teams to embed safeguards and patient education into new pathways, diagnostics, and decision-support tools.
  • Own clinical outcome metrics at group level, including safety, eligibility, treatment initiation, and treatment outcomes.

Requirements

  • A valid medical license and substantial experience in clinical practice.
  • Deep expertise in obesity, endocrinology, diabetes, or metabolic medicine, including hands-on experience prescribing and managing GLP-1s.
  • Confidence navigating complex clinical decisions where evidence may be limited—drawing on research, expert consensus, and sound judgment.
  • A proven track record of designing and scaling clinical workflows in regulated healthcare environments.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of obesity care pathways and long-term metabolic/weight management strategies.
  • A systems-oriented mindset that integrates clinical safety, patient outcomes, and operational excellence.
  • Innovative thinking that challenges conventional models of care and positions Numan at the forefront of obesity treatment.
  • Strong experience collaborating across functions and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate clinical reasoning and safety principles to diverse audiences.
  • Comfort thriving in fast-paced, high-growth settings—balancing clinical rigour with pragmatic execution.
