About the role
- Serve as the primary administrator for the HRIS platform (currently ADP TotalSource) as well as the benefits (bSwift), compensation, performance review (Culture Amp), talent acquisition (Workable), learning and development platform (Veeva), and 401k platforms.
- Continuously evaluate HR systems and benefits processes to identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and improved employee experience.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, standard operating procedures, and training resources.
- Own the accuracy of all employee transactions and system communications.
- Perform regular HRIS systems audits, validations, and data cleanup.
- Manage user permissions, security roles, and system protocols to maintain data privacy and compliance.
- Troubleshoot complex system issues, and coordinate with vendor support.
- Manage the full lifecycle of employee benefits programs, including open enrollment and vendor management.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations related to benefits administration and HR data management.
- Support the Head of People & Culture in the administration of compensation structures, including base pay, bonuses, and equity.
- Design, build, and maintain a library of standard and ad hoc reports for People & Culture, Finance, and Executive leadership.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in HRIS management and benefits administration; prior experience in a "Manager" or "Lead" capacity preferred.
- Advanced expertise in ADP TotalSource (or similar Tier-1 HRIS like Workday or UKG) is required.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Advanced Formulas) and the ability to interpret complex datasets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FLSA, and FMLA regulations.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR, or Certified Professional in HRIS (CPHRIS).
- Implementation Experience: Previous experience leading or assisting in a system implementation or migration.
- Communication: Proven ability to translate technical system language into clear, actionable information for non-technical stakeholders.
