About the role
- Build and execute Emumba’s AWS co-sell motion in your region by developing relationships with AWS Account Managers, Account Executives, and Solution Architects.
- Identify Enterprise and SMB opportunities where Emumba can support cloud modernization, data platforms, DevOps, and AI initiatives and generate sales revenue in accounts.
- Own the full enterprise sales cycle from discovery through proposal, negotiation, revenue generation, and close.
- Develop focused solution plays aligned with AWS priorities including data modernization, platform engineering, and emerging AI workloads.
- Build and manage a territory plan including target accounts, AWS relationship mapping, enterprise account relationship mapping, and pipeline development.
- Collaborate closely with solution architects, delivery teams, and alliances leadership to progress opportunities.
- Position Emumba as a trusted implementation partner inside AWS enterprise account strategies.
Requirements
- 10+ years of enterprise technology or cloud sales experience
- Background at AWS, an AWS consulting partner, ISV, or cloud services firm
- A track record of generating sales in Enterprise and SMB accounts and building pipeline
- Existing relationships across enterprise accounts in their region
- Experience selling consulting or transformation programs (cloud, data, DevOps, AI, or platform engineering)
- Comfort navigating enterprise buying groups including CIOs, CTOs, and engineering leadership
- Ability to operate independently and build a territory from the ground up
Benefits
- Commission-only compensation model with $2M Emumba revenue target for Yr 1.
- Revenue Target: $2M annual services revenue within the first 12 months.
- Commission Structure:
- - 12% on revenue up to $2M
- - 15% on revenue between $2M and $3M
- - 18% on revenue above $3M
- Example Earnings
- $2.0M revenue → ~$240K commission
- $2.5M revenue → ~$315K commission
- $3.5M revenue → ~$480K commission
