About the role
- Manage and grow client accounts in large-scale civil engineering projects
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders on-site
- Identify and respond to client needs, ensuring high satisfaction and long-term partnership
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure alignment between client expectations and technical delivery
- Troubleshoot and assist with resolving technical issues in collaboration with engineering teams
- Translate technical requirements into commercial solutions
- Participate in bid preparation, proposals, and contract negotiations
- Ensure accurate reporting and forecasting of account activities
- Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling within existing account
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
- Minimum 3+ years in Sales, Account Management, or Client Relationship Management within the industrial or engineering sectors
- On-site experience working on civil/industrial construction projects
- Familiarity with CAD software and the ability to interpret technical drawings
- Proven ability to navigate complex technical environments and align stakeholder needs
- Native Dutch speaker with professional proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Technical problem-solving mindset
- Commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients or sites
- Flexibility to travel within the Flemish region and occasionally abroad
