About the role
- Lead strategic HR planning in partnership with the MSOL VP of HR and BU HR leadership to ensure alignment with enterprise business goals and long-term talent strategies.
- Drive HR Transformation initiatives, integrating strategy with execution, establishing metrics to measure impact, and enhancing organizational agility and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to implement core Emerson HR processes (e.g., Profit Review, Growth Conference), ensuring HR priorities are embedded in business planning and decision-making.
- Facilitate global HR strategy sessions and staff meetings, fostering cross-regional collaboration, knowledge sharing, and alignment on strategic priorities.
- Act as a strategic advisor to HR Business Partners and Senior Leadership Team members, promoting accountability, enabling strategic execution, and strengthening HR’s role as a business enabler.
- Craft high-impact strategic communications for senior leaders by synthesizing complex data, shaping messaging, and influencing decisions that drive business and talent outcomes.
- Lead the Organization Review process in partnership with BU and World Area leaders to assess talent readiness, identify succession risks, and strengthen leadership pipelines.
- Analyze and synthesize talent data—including demographics, succession status, and pipeline gaps—to inform strategic workforce planning and leadership development.
- Forecast future talent needs by evaluating long-term business trends and proactively designing initiatives to close capability and leadership gaps.
- Lead and implement strategic HR projects, ensuring timely delivery, cross-functional alignment, and measurable impact on business and talent outcomes.
- Support enterprise-wide Performance Management, facilitating calibration sessions to promote consistency, fairness, and alignment with organizational goals.
- Leverage HR data and analytics to uncover trends, generate insights, and guide strategic decision-making across talent, performance, and organizational effectiveness.
- Develop and present executive-ready dashboards and reports, translating complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Legal Authorization to work in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided for this role
- Experience leading strategic HR planning and HR transformation initiatives
- Experience in talent management, organization review, succession planning, and leadership pipeline development
- Experience leveraging HR data and analytics and developing executive-ready dashboards and reports
- Experience forecasting future talent needs and designing initiatives to close capability and leadership gaps
- Experience leading and implementing strategic HR projects with measurable impact
- Experience supporting enterprise-wide Performance Management and facilitating calibration sessions
- Ability to collaborate with senior leaders, HR Business Partners (HRBPs), and cross-functional teams
- Strong strategic communication skills and ability to synthesize complex data into executive messaging
- Comfortable dealing with uncertainty of change and driving process improvements
