About the role

  • Act as the strategic HR business partner for the President of Professional Tools for the Americas, overseeing all corporate functions and multiple manufacturing sites.
  • Lead with an employee-first mindset to design and implement programs that attract, engage, and retain talent.
  • Serve as the primary escalation and decision-making authority for complex employee relations matters, investigations, and ethics concerns.
  • Build people manager capability and strengthen organizational effectiveness through performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, and regional engagement initiatives.
  • Partner with Operations leadership on workforce planning, staffing models, shift structures, and labor cost management.
  • Lead internal communication strategies that enable people managers, support organizational change, and improve transparency and connection across the Americas.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field (advanced degree is preferred).
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience in employee relations, enablement, and HR leadership.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated success working within a matrixed organizational structure.
  • Experience managing employee relations and HR compliance programs in a multi-site or manufacturing environment.
