About the role
- Develop, implement and maintain hydrostatic pressure test procedures and safety protocols to share best practices and ensure global standardization.
- Provide technical support and assist in training of personnel on hydrostatic testing equipment, procedures, and safety measures.
- Perform risk assessments to mitigate potential pressure testing-related hazards and safeguard workers.
- Conduct calculations to determine appropriate test parameters and methodologies.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of materials, system design, and testing techniques to improve test accuracy, efficiency, and safety.
- Design and develop hydrostatic pressure test tooling, fixtures, gauging, and facility equipment using 3D CAD software.
- Serve as the manufacturing representative on new product design teams to provide manufacturing input on early-stage product designs.
- Coordinate manufacturing planning and execution for new and existing products with world area and site teams through meetings and digital collaboration tools.
- Travel to global manufacturing locations as required.
Requirements
- BA/BS in Business, Engineering or Operations related field or equivalent work experience.
- More than 5 years of professional experience.
- Experience collaborating with remote teams.
- Previous design, test or manufacturing engineering experience preferred.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills in a global environment preferred.
- Five years related Flow Controls experience preferred.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies.
- Able to work well with teams to tackle sophisticated problems.
- Ability to successfully implement process change.
- Work authorization in the United States required; sponsorship will not be provided.
