About the role
- Assist in the design and development of ARM and FPGA-based embedded hardware solutions
- Participate in schematic capture, PCB layout, and circuit design
- Support the prototyping, testing, and validation of hardware designs
- Debug and troubleshoot hardware issues to ensure optimal performance
- Document design processes, test procedures, and results
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout tools
- Knowledge of fundamental electronic components and their characteristics
- Legal authorization to work in the United States. Sponsorship will not be provided for this position
- Junior or Senior (preferred)
- Completed courses in: Digital Logic Design, Circuit Theory, Electro-magnetic Theory, Embedded Systems (preferred)
- Exposure to Hardware Description Languages such as VHDL or Verilog (preferred)
- Exposure to Signal integrity and EMI/EMC considerations (preferred)
- Exposure to Embedded systems and microcontroller design (preferred)
- Exposure to Simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, ModelSim) (preferred)
- Previous internship experience in a professional environment (preferred)
- Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills (preferred)
- Strategic mindset and self-motivated (preferred)
