About the role
- Contribute to the design, development, and testing of electrical systems and circuits for medical devices, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory standards (e.g., IEC 60601).
- Develop specifications, schematics, and PCB layouts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet design and performance requirements.
- Perform system-level integration of hardware, firmware, and software components.
- Conduct troubleshooting, debugging, and failure analysis to resolve technical issues.
- Support risk assessments and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Participate in verification and validation activities, including test planning, execution, and documentation.
- Maintain design documentation (BOMs, specifications, drawings) in accordance with quality system requirements.
- Work with manufacturing teams to support design transfer and resolve production issues.
- Stay current with advancements in electrical engineering and relevant technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with a minimum of 0 years of relevant experience
- Experience in analog, digital, or mixed-signal circuit design.
- Understanding of EMC design and test principles.
- Proficiency with PCB CAD tools (e.g., Altium, Cadence).
- Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, and debugging PCB assemblies.
- Familiarity with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) principles.
- Ability to work independently with general supervision.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
