Coordinate and lead product management and marketing initiatives for assigned product portfolio to grow the global business.
Manage and analyze data related to product portfolio using Excel and PowerBI; present product status and portfolio planning to leadership.
Gain knowledge of competitive products and strategies to define new products and improvements.
Manage product literature and website presence; assist in promotional tools for sales channel.
Coordinate product parameters throughout lifecycle including pricing, capabilities, improvements.
Assist sales with special pricing approvals and product selection insight; develop sales training and support events.
Support product development: develop product plans, coordinate NPD and modification plans, provide marketing and technical feedback.
Support cost reductions and financial analysis with engineering; identify and coordinate product approvals across global regions; manage ECRs and quality concerns.
Assist operations: develop monthly demand forecasts, product planning bills, monitor lead times, and coordinate with operations and supply chain.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Marketing, or equivalent experience
General knowledge of company products and customer applications.
Possess good communication skills across various media to coordinate with manufacturing sites, sales offices, and cross-functional teams.
Good presentation abilities
Strong analytical abilities and experience with ERP systems
Ability to travel at least 10% of the time to manufacturing locations, customer sites, and industry events.
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Preferred: 1 - 3 years’ experience in engineering, sales, business development, marketing, or equivalent.
Preferred: Knowledge of industrial valve business, marketplace, competitive product customers, and applications.
