About the role
- Apply technical expertise in the production of products
- Select, design or recommend tools, fixtures, and equipment
- Develop manufacturing processes and procedures to reduce problems and cost
- Recommend design changes to increase quality or reduce problems and costs
- Solve production problems and improve process capabilities
- Participate in the presentation of test results and design reviews
- Interact with other functional groups, vendors, or customers
- Participate in the administration of technical procedures
- Initiate and implement routine engineering change authorizations
- Support capacity model and lean initiatives; may participate in lean six sigma improvement teams
- May interact with teammates in numerous global locations
- May be required to travel to other Emerson factories in the United States China, Romania, and Mexico
Requirements
- Bachelors in engineering
- Zero (0) years of applicable experience
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Preferred: An ABET-accredited engineering degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing
- Willingness to travel to other Emerson factories in the United States China, Romania, and Mexico
- May interact with teammates in numerous global locations
