About the role
- Design and/or develop manufacturing processes and techniques that solve manufacturing and warehousing problems
- Use lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to analyze current processes and identify areas of waste, inefficiency, and variability
- Facilitate workshops and meetings focused on idea generation, problem-solving, and innovation in process improvement
- Develop process maps, conduct root cause analyses, and implement solutions to address identified issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement standardized work procedures and best practices
- Train and coach employees on lean and Six Sigma principles and tools to foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Monitor and report on the progress of continuous improvement initiatives to management, documenting results and impacts on performance metrics
- Support the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of process improvements
- Benchmark industry standards, trends, and advancements in continuous improvement techniques and technologies and incorporate best practices into the organization’s processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Zero (0) years of related experience
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma processes (preferred)
- Familiarity with Office 365 Applications including SharePoint, Visio, & Power BI (preferred)
- Mechanical or Industrial and Systems Engineering Degree (preferred)
- ABET-accredited engineering degree (preferred)
