About the role
- Monitor and analyze cloud usage and spending across platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI, and GCP)
- Collaborate with engineering, finance, and operations teams to implement cost optimization strategies.
- Create and manage financial models for cloud expenditure forecasting and budgeting.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend changes to cloud service usage and pricing models.
- Support FinOps education initiatives and promote cost-aware architecture decisions.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to visualize cloud cost trends, anomalies, and forecasts.
- Implement automated cost anomaly detection and reporting systems.
Requirements
- Strong analytical skills with experience in Power BI, Excel, and cloud cost tools (e.g., Cloudability, OCI Cost Analysis, AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Advisor)
- Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cloud cost management, financial analysis, or FinOps.
