About the role
- Ensure Material Availability at Isolation Valve (ISV) Plants by ensuring 95% Request Date Service Level (RDSL)
- Manage Exception Management and 95% PR to PO within Turn Around Time (TAT)
- Extract Open PO Report and convert PR to PO
- Collaborate with suppliers for PO acknowledgement and confirmations
- Update ERP with confirmation dates and implement exception messages in SAP, Oracle, plant ERP
- Liaise with Suppliers for deliveries and maintain promise dates and order confirmations
- Collaborate with Global Stakeholders including Category Managers, Production & Inventory Control Manager and Value Stream Managers
- Lead Supplier Relationship Management process with internal and External supplier
- Coordinate Material Master Data Audits in ERP and complete Material Master Set up
- Support monthly/quarterly/annual management reports for Customer and Suppliers
- Negotiate with vendors for cost and delivery requirements while supporting inventory turns
Requirements
- Minimum 5 to 10 years of professional experience in Purchasing / Procurement / Supply Chain or Casting, Forging, Machining
- Knowledge in Strategic sourcing methodology, supply chain management, contracting, procurement, and supplier management skill.
- Experience working with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
- Excellent digital literacy and a technical proficiency that includes significant data gathering skills, expertise, interpretation, and reporting for the Supply Chain organization.
- Strong problem solving & analytical skills with expertise in data analysis and management (Advanced Excel, Tableau, Power BI, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access, PowerPoint, SQL).
